This photo appeared on a number of right-wing websites, including Breitbart.com, all claiming that this photo was chosen by the President to honor the passing of Neil Armstrong. This photo was posted at the BarackObama.com Tumblr page, which is very doubtful that it is maintained by the President himself.
The White House issued a statement honoring the memory of Neil Armstrong, the President ordered flags at half-staff, and a photo gallery tribute was published at Whitehouse.gov. The photo gallery did not include the "Scary Obama Shadow" displayed above and at a variety of right-wing blogs.
